My a part of my dissertation I made a typeface inspired by a collection of more or less 300 receipts. The letters are quirky, weird and uneven - all due to the fact every single receipts was uniquely different. From New York to Lisbon, London, Amsterdam, Gothenburg and Oslo. None of the letters are taken from the same two receipts, which to me felt the correct way of approaching the font.
